This morning while commuting to work, there one elderly man standing helplessly beside me. The train is full. All the seats close to us were occupied by young foreigners, heading to British Council for their English Courses, I guess.
There a sign that been ignored... these seat are reserve for pregnant ladies, elderly, senior citizens and disable, please be courteous (more or less like that laa).
I'm thinking, instead of depending of courtesy of the people who are seated to offer, can we educate our society to ask for a seat they deserve. Elderly, pregnant ladies and disables, please open your mouth and ask for the seat your deserve. Even you feel quite comfortable standing, please ask.
It will save others from feeling bad for seeing you standing while some youngsters seating. Its a heavy feeling to carry even for a short while before we forget about it.
