Antara Perlu Dan Ingin

Mata ini perlu rehat
Minda ini ingin berjaga
Tubuh ini perlu beradu
Hati ini ingin meneroka

Malam dicipta untuk lelapkan mata
Internet datang mencaca-marba

Bagaimana harus aku kembalikan
Fitrah asal ini
Agar hilang gelora gundah
Agar aman sejahtera

Semoga aku kuat
Melakukannya

Amin.

Sedang Ingin Bersajak

Kucuba hari ini
Ingin bersajak lagi
Entahkan menjadi entahkan tidak

Kuselami kenangan lalu
Diwaktu belajar dahulu
Kuambil satu paper
Pasal sajak dan seni penulisan
Satu paper sahaja
Elektif kuagak kategorinya

Cinta utara ini
Kukira semakin matang
Setelah bersama
9 tahun lamanya

Apinya masih membara
Merahnya masih ketara
Setiap senyuman masih berharga
Membuat hariku ceria

Terima kasih cinta
Kerana telah memperkaya
Hidupku yang tak seberapa.

Last Post

Last posting in this blog is Feb 22, 2011. Approximately 170 days ago. That looong time ago man.

Nevertheless, there are still one or two visitor drop by in every one or two days.

Despite the convenience for the facebook and twitter, I'm still inclined to blogging.

Just the time constraint and insufficient internet connection kept me from being active. Anyway, I'm still and active reader to other people blogs. Even though the list of blog that i closely follow keep changing base on current interest, I'm still reading.

I don't really like to read books because as a typical Malaysian, it is very hard for me to finish it. But i love reading online articles as i can finished it in one shot.

Enough for today. Let have the cheat 'sahur' and go to bed.

Adios.

Cinta Metafora Untuk Kita

Marilah bersama pejamkan mata
Menghambat bisikan dunia yang berleluasa
Jemput semula ketenangan biar bertamu

Bukalah matamu
Pautlah tanganku
Marilah bersama
Hayati keindahan
Yang kita ada

Biar selama ini
Kita leka menghambat dunia
Dihambat dunia
Yang menggila
Yang mendamba
Lebih dari upaya kita

Biar seketika
Ambillah masa
Biar kita
Hayati sentiasa
Keindahan yang hanya milik kita
Yang kita tahu destinasinya
Tersemat dihati kita

Abadilah milik kita

Love Metaphor

We learn about 'love' from our experience; and from others'.
From our learning, we try to 'love' someone. When that someone 'love'
back, we fell happy, satisfied and confident.
When that 'love' grow, we feel overconfident and take thing for
granted with some element of arrogant and greed. We neglected all the
desructive signs right in front of our eyes.

And we start got hurt. And got hurt again.

And here I am. Alone missing my love with a broken heart. 'padan muka
aku'. The stupid ignorant arrogant greedy basterds.

May this pain teach me the lessons to be humble in 'love'.

Love the market with confident and humility and the market will love
you back.

Thing of The Past & Thing of The Present

I have been spending sometimes reading back the archive post in my blog in the last few days. I suddently realized one thing. My writing style and my capability to put ideas that flow smoothly in a spontaneous way; of which I cannot do now.

I can also write poem straight into the posting and post it immediately; and it still a good piece of poem; at my own standard.

I think, it is a result of focus and determination when doing something with some specific purpose. I guess, along the way, the purpose faded and I lost the touch; especially when I discovered new interests or have different purpose in living my life. It also due to unavailability of the reliable internet connection or other related tools. Or just changes in the priority on how I spend my time.

Whatever it is, I accept the fact that changes happens and our capability to adapt to the changes will determint our survival.

Selamat Hari Raya

Selamat Hari Raya. Maaf Zahir Batin

Kenapa Ramai Yang Gagal

Republish: http://abangensem.blogspot.com/2010/07/kenapa-ramai-yang-gagal.html

Bila kawan-kawan diorang kata boleh untung kalau beli rumah kat area X, terus je diorang beli tanpa study dulu market kat situ. Bila aku tanya kenapa tak buat market study? Diorang cakap "nak study apa?".

Terima Kasih Sayang

Tidak pernah terfikir, terlintas,
dilubuk hatiku
Akan dicinta, sehebat begini

Tidak pernah aku menduga, menjangka,
suram hidupku ini
Diterangi cahaya, pelangi indahmu

Tidak mungkin terkira, menghitung,
nikmatnya hidup ini
Dibawa kehadiranmu, cinta sayangmu

Tidak pernahku percaya, menyingkap,
serba kekuranganku ini
Memiliki gadis secantik, hebat dirimu

Tidak pernah termampu, terdaya,
kudratku ini
Membalas kasih, tulus pengorbananmu

Tidak pernah kulupa, mengalpa
diruang mindaku ini
Mensyukuri hadirmu, membahagiakanku

Selalu ku bulatkan tekad
di hati jiwaku ini,
Sekuat semampuku, menyayangimu

Berbagai cinta keagungan dunia
Romeo Juliet, Samson Delila
Pada sikerdil ini
Kaulah cinta teragung, anugerahku

Kulafazkan di sini,
with humble feeling
"Thank you my dear darling"
Untukmu!

Inside the mind of Singapore's Youngest Millionaire - By Adam Khoo

From:http://pgcare.blogspot.com/2009/12/inside-mind-of-singapores-youngest.html

Some of you may already know that I travel around the region pretty frequently, having to visit and conduct seminars at my offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Suzhou (China). I am in the airport almost every other week so I get to bump into many people who have attended my seminars or have read my books.

Recently, someone came up to me on a plane to KL and looked rather shocked. He asked, 'How come a millionaire like you is travelling economy?' My reply was, 'That's why I am a millionaire. 'He still looked pretty confused. This again confirms that greatest lie ever told about wealth (which I wrote about in my latest book 'Secrets of Self Made Millionaires'). Many people have been brainwashed to think that millionaires have to wear Gucci, Hugo Boss, Rolex, and sit in first class in air travel. This is why so many people never become rich because the moment that earn more money, they think that it is only natural that they spend more, putting them back to square one.

The truth is that most self-made millionaires are frugal and only spend on what is necessary and of value. That is why they are able to accumulate and multiply their wealth so much faster. Over the last 7 years, I have saved about 80% of my income while today I save only about 60% (because I have my wife, mother in law, 2 maids, 2 kids, etc. to support). Still, it is way above most people who save 10% of their income (if they are lucky). I refuse to buy a first class ticket or to buy a $300 shirt because I think that it is a complete waste of money. However, I happily pay $1,300 to send my 2-year old daughter to Julia Gabriel Speech and Drama without thinking twice.

When I joined the YEO (Young Entrepreneur's Organization) a few years back (YEO is an exclusive club open to those who are under 40 and make over $1m a year in their own business) I discovered that those who were self-made thought like me. Many of them with net worth's well over $5m, traveled economy class and some even drove Toyotas and Nissans (not Audis, Mercs, BMWs).

I noticed that it was only those who never had to work hard to build their own wealth (there were also a few ministers' and tycoons' sons in the club) who spent like there was no tomorrow. Somehow, when you did not have to build everything from scratch, you do not really value money. This is precisely the reason why a family's wealth
(no matter how much) rarely lasts past the third generation. Thank God my rich dad (oh no! I sound like Kiyosaki) foresaw this terrible possibility and refused to give me a cent to start my business.

Then some people ask me, 'What is the point in making so much money if you don't enjoy it?' The thing is that I don't really find happiness in buying branded clothes, jewelry or sitting first class. Even if buying something makes me happy it is only for a while, it does not last. Material happiness never lasts, it just gives you a quick fix. After a while you feel lousy again and have to buy the next thing which you think will make you happy. I always think that if you need material things to make you happy, then you live a pretty sad and unfulfilled life.

Instead, what makes ME happy is when I see my children laughing and playing and learning so fast. What makes me happy is when I see my companies and trainers reaching more and more people every year in so many more countries. What makes me really happy is when I read all the emails about how my books and seminars have touched and inspired someone's life. This happiness makes me feel really good for a long time, much much more than what a Rolex would do for me.

I think the point I want to put across is that happiness must come from doing your life's work (be in teaching, building homes, designing, trading, winning tournaments etc.) and the money that comes is only a by-product. If you hate what you are doing and rely on the money you earn to make you happy by buying stuff, then I think that you are living a meaningless life.

Three Little Words in Relationships

Source:http://communicatebetter.blogspot.com/
There are many things that we can do to lift up and strengthen our interpersonal relationships. One of the most effective techniques involves the use of saying three special words.

1. "I'll Be There"

If you ever had to call a friend in the middle of the night when your car has broken down some miles from home, you will know how good it feels to hear the phrase "I'll be there." Being there for another person is one of the greatest gifts that we can give to another.

When we are truly present for other people, important things happen to them as well as to ourselves . We are renewed in love, as well as in friendship. We are restored emotionally and spiritually. Being there is at the very core of civility.

2. "I Miss You"

Perhaps more marriages could have been saved and strengthen if couples simply and sincerely say these three words to each other. "I miss you."

These three words act as a powerful affirmation that lets partners know that they are wanted, treasured and loved.

3. "I Respect You"

Respect is another way of showing love. Respect conveys the feeling that another person is a true equal. For example, if you were to talk to your children as if they were adults, you will probably strengthen the bonds and become close friends. This applies to all interpersonal relationships. Do make the other person feel important and do it sincerely.

4. "Maybe You're Right"

This phrase is highly effective in diffusing an argument and restoring frayed emotions. The flip side to "maybe your right" is the humility of admitting, "Maybe I'm wrong".

Let's face it. When you have a heated argument with someone, all you do is cement the other person's point of view. They, or you, will not change their stance and you run the risk of seriously damaging the relationship between you.

Saying "maybe you're right" can open the door to further explore the subject, in which you may then have the opportunity to get your view across in a more rational manner.

5. "Please Forgive Me."

Many broken relationships could be restored and healed if people would admit their mistakes and ask for forgiveness. All of us are vulnerable to faults, foibles and failures.

A man should never be ashamed to own up that he has been in the wrong, which is saying, in other words, that he is wiser today than he was yesterday.

6. "I Thank You"

Gratitude is an exquisite form of courtesy. People who enjoy the companionship of good, close friends are those who don't take daily courtesies for granted. They are quick to thank their friends for their many expressions of kindness.

On the other hand, people whose circle of friends is severely constricted often do not
have the attitude of gratitude.

7. "Count On Me"

A true friend is one who walks in when others walk out. Loyalty is an essential ingredient in the recipe for a good friendship. It is the emotional glue that bonds most people.

Those that are rich in their relationships tend to be true and steady friends.

When troubles arise, a true friend is one that says "count on me"

8. "Let Me Help"

Best friends see a need and try to fill it. When they spot
a hurt they do what they can to try to heal it. Without being asked, they pitch in to help.

9. "I Understand You"

People become closer and enjoy each other more if they feel the other person accepts and understands them.

Letting your spouse know in so many different ways that you understand them is one of the most powerful tools for healing your relationship. This applies for any relationship.

10. "I Love You"

Perhaps the most important three words you can say. Telling someone that you truly love them satisfies a person's deepest emotional needs. The need to belong, to be appreciated and to be wanted.

Your family, your friends and yourself all need to hear these three words. "I Love You"

When spoken or conveyed, these statements have the power to forge new relationships, deepen old ones, and restore relationships that have mellowed.

These three word phases can be used to enrich any relationship. Use them and enjoy better relationships in your life today!

Frugality

"To be healthy, wealthy, happy and successful in any and all areas of your life you need to be aware that you need to think healthy, wealthy, happy and successful thoughts twenty four hours a day and cancel all negative, destructive, fearful and unhappy thoughts. These two types of thought cannot coexist if you want to share in the abundance that surrounds us all."

8 Things to not Getting an ‘F’ in Personal Finance 101

Source:http://lenpenzo.com/blog/id1142-8-big-reasons-why-youre-getting-an-f-in-personal-finance-101.html

The First Commandment: 'spend less than you earn'

1. Have emergency fund to avoid unnecessary debt.

2. Always know your bank account balance.

3. Understand the difference between a want and a need.

4. Track spending to know how much money you spend.

5. Tastes must not exceed spending capability.

Understand that this is not a problem, so much as an excuse. When your expensive tastes starts impacting your ability to save, you're in for trouble.

Extra Credit: If your tastes exceed your budget, ratchet them down a notch or three – and stop making lame excuses.

6. Say no.

Many people do understand the difference between a want and a need, but they have trouble saying no anyway. Being able to say no is a crucial skill in the world of personal finance. Those that can't will always have the most trouble keeping their personal finances on an even keel.

Extra Credit: Master the art of saying no.

7. Stop 'impulse buying'.

Impulse buying is a nasty habit that can best be cured by careful planning.

8. You worry about what others think about you.

People that worry about what others think of them suffer from a predilection to conspicuous consumption, otherwise known as the desire to keep up with the Joneses. There are many reasons why people do this: the urge to advertise their success in life (be it real or imagined), the desire to have what others have, and instant gratification, just to name a few. Unfortunately, people with a poor grip on their personal finances fail to understand this little piece of reality: the Joneses are broke.

Counting the bless

1. I have an amazing wife and wonderfull kids. Despite my countless flaws that constraint me from being a wonderful person to them, they still wonderfully love me. They are the world to me.

2. Despite all the sucks thing that an employee has in a working world, I still have what can be considered a 'paid vacation' almost every month that also come with some allowance, in the east coast of Malaysia. Even though it still working and still have to work, being outside office can keep you in perspectives. Getting some different view away from your cubicle, really help to keep you sane.

Two is enough for this time. The list can be super long.

Adios.
